🚤 What a Day at the 1st Annual “United We Float!”
The cardboard may have gotten soggy, but the community spirit was completely unsinkable! We are thrilled to share the official recap video for the United Way of Hood County’s 1st Annual United We Float Charity Cardboard Boat Race at Granbury City Beach. Check out the highlights, the glorious (and hilarious) triumphs, and every unforgettable splash on the water! We want to send a massive, heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, cheered from the shoreline, and came together to support this incredible community event. Putting on a first-time event takes an amazing village, and we could not have done it without our generous sponsors and partners: Christmas for Children, Children’s Charity Fund, Kroger, Jacque Gordon with Keller Williams, A+ Roofing, KHITS 95.5, HANK FM 92.1, Stumpy’s Granbury Marina, Walmart Hood County Sheriff’s Department, City of Granbury Granbury, and Conference Center! Thank you for showing up big for Hood County and helping us make waves for a great cause. Start planning those designs now! We can’t wait to see everyone back out for the 2nd Annual Charity Cardboard Boat Race next year, and we hope to make it even bigger and better!
